Arts Advocates: The Fine Arts Society of Sarasota has awarded more than $1 million in grants and scholarships in support of our local art community

Tuition awards are given to talented students in Florida for undergraduate studies in the arts including visual arts, performing arts, creative writing, architecture and related endeavors. The award also includes a one year membership in Arts Advocates.

U.S. citizenship with a one year residency in Sarasota or Manatee county (Florida) is required.

Awards are based on artistic talent, family need, character academic achievement and appropriate college choice.

Application must include current transcript, three letters recommending the student’s artistic talent, an essay and talent samples for all applicants.
