Art Venti (https://ventiartworks.com) is a NY born artist celebrated for his unusually imaginative large scale color pencil work on archival paper. The compositions often appear as alternative reality landscapes with environmental or political themes.

Meet the artist on May 19, where Venti will answer your questions about his incredibly meticulous and wonderful technique of applying layers of color to the fascinating surreal landscapes he has "imagined" and brought to life. During the talk, you'll be to invited to view the many works on the walls up close. He may bring along the large array of the colored pencils he favors, and demonstrate the techniques that he has developed to achieve the wondrous effects in his work.

Venti has been a professional artist for over 40 years and is a Signature Member of the Color Pencil Society of America (CPSA), having won several awards in their national and international juried shows. His work was chosen to be displayed as the “heading” artwork on their CPSA homepage.

Primarily exhibiting in California, since 1982, (San Francisco and Los Angeles), and then in  London, UK in 2016, where he lived for four years with his English wife Jennifer. The couple eventually relocated to the US, this time, to Sarasota, Florida in 2020.
