The Artists of Palmer Ranch is a local group that fosters a supportive environment for artists in the area. Originating in 1996 in the Palmer Ranch community of Huntington Pointe, six residents met in each other's homes to discuss and critique their artwork. The original group grew to include other artists from other communities on Palmer Ranch and officially became an established, active club known as Artists of Palmer Ranch in 1997. 

Today they are a group of approximately 50 members. The variety of talent is exciting, with artists who work in watercolor, oil, and acrylic, along with wood and metal sculptors, portrait painters, abstract and whimsical creators, photographers, and musicians. 

The Arts Advocates Gallery is located inside the Crossings at Siesta Key mall, 3501 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Enter the mall through the doors next to Connors Steak & Seafood and turn left.
