Why Are Classic and Contemporary Dance Unique?
Ariel Serrano and Leymis Bolaños Wilmott, artistic directors of the Sarasota Cuban Ballet (SCB) and Sarasota Contemporary Dance (SCD), will discuss the heritage of their organizations and illustrate with company dancers what makes their styles of dance unique. SDC is home to more than 25 in-studio performances and over 20 weekly dance classes offered for all ages. SCB is a premier destination for Cuban training in the United States with two major components - its award-winning school and its Sarasota Cuban Ballet Studio Company that performs for the public.
This month's raffle prize was generously donated by Marie-Louise McHugh. It is her "Red Snapper and Polenta," matted and framed, 14"x16" gouache on paper.
Lunch Choices - Use dropdowns on the registration form to indicate your selections. Please note that your entreé and dessert choices cannot be changed at the luncheon.
Regular Entree: Roasted turkey - Sliced roasted turkey breast, pan gravy, cranberry relish, mashed potatoes, green beans
Vegan Entree: Roasted vegetable ravioli with herbed vegan Alfredo
Dessert: Georgia pecan pie with whipped cream or Fruit
