Arts Advocates is delighted to share our newest collaboration with the City of Sarasota. For the next year, City Hall—in partnership with Thomson Fine Arts and with supporting artwork from Arts Advocates—presents Echoes of Sarasota, a City Hall Cultural Heritage Exhibition.

Now on view at both City Hall and the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the exhibition highlights captivating scenes from Sarasota’s earlier days. Through eight mural‑scale works by Regan Dunnick, four by Frank Hopper, and eight selected paintings from the Arts Advocates collection, the city’s most memorable faces and places come alive once again.

At the Arts Advocates Gallery in The Crossings at Siesta Key mall, visitors can enjoy 12 coordinating works by Sarasota Art Colony artists William Hartman, Martha Hartman, Wilfrid Berg, and Eugene White—artists whose pieces are also featured at City Hall.

Beat the heat this summer and stop by the Arts Advocates Gallery and City Hall  to discover the stories of the Sarasota legacy artists who shaped our community’s cultural history and continue to inspire today.
